Did you enjoy your pregnancy?: I LOVED being pregnant. With that said I was really sick in all 3, however its not that i loved being sick. I love everything else. I love the process. I love the kicks. I love bonding with someone i have never met. I think being pregnant is one of the coolest experiences. Hard but super neat. What an amazing thing our body does.

How was your delivery experience?: I have so far had 2 types of delivery. I did the whole hospital/epidural thing for my first and the natural/at home/midwife thing with my second. My third we are going to do a mix of hospital/natural/midwife 🙂 They were both different. I have pros and cons for both. There is definitely something special or memorable about the natural birth, hence why we are choosing it a second time. I felt with the epidural i was tired and sluggish as well as my son for a couple weeks after and felt I had a little postpartum with it. My second child I was up and trying to do laundry after the first hour. For me i personally like the natural delivery more. I had more complications in the first delivery, but hey I looked great afterwards! haha!

What’s your biggest struggle when it comes to being a mom?: Patience. I lack patience so bad. I also struggle to not compare to all the other fit, cute and seemingly perfect moms out there.

What’s your biggest strength when it comes to being a mom?: I LOVE my boys more than i can express and i feel like it shows to them. I think i am good at expressing my feelings towards them and making them aware how loved they are.

What is your favorite part of the day with your child/children?: I love the little moments. The snuggles, random kisses and i love you’s. I love watching their facial expression when they see and/or are doing something they love. The excitement in their little faces is priceless. I don’t have a particular time. I think being around them can be some of the most fun in a day i have.

Advice for fellow mothers who need a little boost?: DON’T compare yourself to others and know what you are doing is best for you and your kids, not the people looking in telling you how to parent. Everyone has different wants and needs. You are doing your best, and you’re doing great!

What’s one product for yourself you can’t live without? Favorite product for your child/children?: For myself, my false eyelashes. NO. Not because Chelsea is amazing and I love her work, but lets be real. I never get ready for the day so having them makes me feel ok, to be out in the world. 🙂
My kids: baby wipes. That plain and simple. Wipes, wipes everywhere!

How has being a mom changed your life?: I look back at my “old life” pre kids and had a lot of fun, but nothing compares to the new moments i am making with them. I am SO very grateful heavenly father chose me to be a mom to his precious children and nothing makes me happier than being their mom. I look back at that life and think i will take my boys with the good, bad and ugly anyway before returning to that lifestyle. They have changed me for the better and have made me see people in a whole new light. I have more compassion for others and more love to go around. I LOVE being a mom!
