Name: Michelle | Child Names/age: Payton 2 1/2


Did you enjoy your pregnancy?: For the most part. I mean for it being mainly in the summer time, it wasn’t too bad.

How was your delivery experience?: It was the scariest but most amazing thing I’ve experienced. It could have definitely been better. I was in labor for 16 hours and had him at 1030 p.m. I ended up needing emergency surgery, because I was losing too much blood. So I saw him for a few minutes, did skin to skin with him, then went back to surgery. I saw him at 4 in the morning, and was so exhausted. But I would do it all again in a heart beat, for us both to be here safe.

What’s your biggest struggle when it comes to being a mom?: Patience, and the lack of.

What’s your biggest strength when it comes to being a mom?: Being understanding. I always want to be there to understand why he is upset so we can solve the problem.

What is your favorite part of the day with your child/children?: Coming home from work, and having him run up to me super excited to see me. Giving me a giant hug and lots of kisses.

Who is an inspiration to you when it comes to motherhood?: My Mom. She is my best friend. Always there for me to lean on when I need support or someone to talk to. She shows me the patience that I need to have with Payton.

Advice for fellow mothers who need a little boost?: You can do this. Some days may be easier than others but tomorrow is a new day. Remember they love you, no matter what mistakes you think you’re making.

Where is your favorite place to shop for yourself? Favorite place to shop for your child/children?: For myself, it would definitely be Gormans or JcPenny’s. For Payton, Baby’s R Us, Carters, or Target, clearance is our best friend.

What’s one product for yourself you can’t live without? Favorite product for your child/children?: For myself, my eye liner, I feel naked with out it. For Payton, his sippy cups. He’s always got one.

How has being a mom changed your life?: Its made me a stronger person. I strive to be the best that I can be for him, because he deserves the best.
